Information we may receive

The website does not ask you to create an account, and it does not include a contact form, newsletter signup, or other tool that submits personal details to us.

Like most websites, the service that delivers these pages may automatically process technical request data — for example an IP address, browser type, requested URL, and time of the request — in order to operate, secure, and diagnose the site. This policy does not name a specific hosting vendor, because that can change.

How information is used

Technical request data, if retained by the hosting or delivery platform, would be used to serve pages, keep the site working, and investigate problems. The application itself does not use that data to build user profiles, serve ads, or measure marketing campaigns.

Calculator inputs

The calculators run in your browser. Values you type — such as steps, miles, height, sex, step length, weight, or walking pace — are used on the page to produce an estimate.

The application code does not save those inputs to a site-owned database, and it does not currently write them to cookies or browser storage. If you leave the page or refresh it, those entries are not kept by the calculators.

Cookies and similar technologies

The application does not set its own analytics, advertising, or preference cookies. It does not use localStorage or sessionStorage.

Your browser or the service that delivers the site may still use cookies or similar technologies for ordinary web delivery. This policy does not claim that no such technology can ever appear at the network or browser level.

Third-party services

The current application code does not load advertising networks, analytics products, or social-media pixels. It does not embed a third-party contact or form service.

The pages are still delivered over the internet, so a hosting or content-delivery platform may process requests as part of making the site available.

Data retention

The application does not retain calculator inputs. Any technical logs kept by a hosting or delivery platform follow that platform's own retention practices, which this site does not control in detail.

Security

We aim to keep the site available and to avoid collecting more information than the tools need. No website can promise complete security.

Your choices and rights

You can use the calculators without creating an account. You can also leave fields blank where they are optional, or stop using the site.

Depending on where you live, you may have legal rights concerning personal data processed by a hosting platform. This policy does not give legal advice about those rights.

Changes to this policy

If the site starts using cookies, analytics, advertising, forms, accounts, or other collection practices, this policy should be updated to match. The date at the top of the page shows when this version was written.
